CEIL

Our levels

The C.E.I.L. provides language training by assessing learners’ proficiency levels
in each taught language. All exams designed at the center are aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), an international standard used to describe language proficiency. The CEFR defines language skills at various levels, including six main levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1,C2) that can be grouped into three general categories: beginners, independent users, proficient users.
Additional sub-levels have emerged since the creation of CEFR, such as A1.1, B1.1, and B1.2, taught at the Centre for Intensive Teaching of Languages Batna2 to meet the specific needs of our learners.
